Industrial Training Institute Dahegam was established in 1999. Initially, the institute was started at the AVTS center of Kubernagar with 5 sanctioned trades. At present the institute is having its own building at Dahegam, with 9 sanctioned trades and total sanctioned seats is 284. Along with these full time courses, the institute also runs short term courses related to Construction Skill and Computer. The institute is working in two shifts – morning and general.

The concept at the time was, to prepare skilled man power. Now, to cope up with the changes of current industries trend, the institute has accepted the concept of “Public Private Partnership” also.
